Black Beauty is a striking dark-fruited tomato selection for growers who appreciate unusual colours and speciality vegetables. Its dark appearance creates a dramatic contrast with conventional red tomatoes, making the harvest particularly attractive. Exposure to sunlight can influence the development of dark pigmentation in certain tomato varieties. Dark-coloured tomatoes may contain anthocyanins, depending on their genetics and the tissues in which the pigments develop.
